Tae Kwon Do for Adults
Tae Kwon Do is a fantastic way to get in shape. Since it is a martial art, you exercise both mind and body when you workout (meaning you will never get bored)! You also learn how to defend yourself which will enable you to walk the city streets with confidence and self-assurance.
Physically, a 45 minute Tae Kwon Do class will give you a full-body workout.
The classes are cardio in nature, but also develop strength and flexibility.
You will notice better balance, stronger core muscles, increased muscle tone (especially in the lower body) and greater mental concentration. Almost everyone finds Tae Kwon Do to be a great stress reliever.
We have both beginner and advanced classes. Any class you see on our schedule labeled “Basic” is appropriate for someone that has never done martial arts before. Advanced Students: If you have prior Tae Kwon Do experience, please call us or stop by so we can assess your skill level. Unlike most martial arts schools, we let students keep their belts if they come to us from a different school provided they know the WTF forms.
